Michael G. Kaldis, M.D.
Dr.
Kaldis objective, first and foremost, is to provide the highest standards
of patient care. A good physician/patient relationship, based on communication
and understanding, helps make these standards possible. Through Continuing
Education Programs, my staff and I stay up-to-the-minute, so that we
can remain an informed and competent part of the health care team. Dr.
Kaldis is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who is fellowship trained
in surgery of the spine and scoliosis. He is a graduate of Texas A&M
University and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
He served as an intern in General Surgery at the University of Texas
Health Science Center at Houston and completed his orthopedic residency
there as well. Dr. Kaldis is the recipient of The Clinical Excellence
Award from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
and was a contributing author of "Anatomy and Surgical Approaches
of the Spine" from the book, Spinal Fusion; Science and Techniques.

Education
Dr. Kaldis holds a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University and a Medical
doctoral degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston,
Texas. He completed an externship in Orthopedic Surgery under Martin
Aligower in Basel, Switzerland. His internship in General Surgery and
residency in Orthopedic Surgery were completed at the University of
Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Texas. Fellowship in Surgery
of the Spine and Scoliosis were completed at the University of British
Columbia, Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
